The Department for Education has launched the National Teaching Service, a new programme designed to match top teaching talent to schools that need it most, and it is now open for applications!
The programme will not only be helping support those schools that are struggling to recruit but will also support motivated teachers to take on a new challenge and progress their career.
National Teaching Service teachers will have access to a prestigious package of support and training to help you progress your career. They will be part of a much larger network of teachers as the government intends for their to be 1500 National Teaching Service teachers across the country by 2020.
The roles offered will be on permanent contracts (so jobs will be secure). If you need it, there will also be support to help you relocate.
The National Teaching Service kicks off in the North West in September 2016, later expanding across the country. Applications are open to teachers and middle leaders across the country until March 11 2016.
